About

Barry is retired from the United States Air Force where he spent time as a Crew Chief on the KC135 and a Jet Engine Mechanic on the F16 and B1 Bomber. His love of classic airplanes began with the restoration of his family owned Navy N3N. 

Barry received his Bachelor Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeoronautical University. He has an A&P license with an Inspection Authorization. 

Barry is a member of EAA and volunteers his time and skills for community events his local EAA chapter. 

A Wizard Metal Bender - Barry is an extremely experienced parts fabricator. In addition to building the two engine mounts, intake scoops, longerons, doublers, along with numerous other pieces for the XP-82 Twin Mustang, he saved the project thousands of dollars with his extraordinary ability to work efficiently.

Quality Restoration - I don't believe that anyone can fabricate sheet metal as well as Barry Hutton. Furthermore, in terms of my Stinson, I can't think of any way to improve the quality of his restoration work.
